India’s ecommerce industry war intensifies.

Te-commercehe Indian E-commerce sector is heated up with various players stepping up their game to win more and more market share. All the major players including Amazon India, Flipkart, Meesho and Reliance backed Ajio has either raised fresh funds from recent rounds or decided to introduce new categories in the e-commerce market.

The big boy, Amazon India has launched Amazon Bazaar, to compete against Meesho in the unbranded segment. Amazon parent has also decided to infuse funds as much as Rs.1660 crore into India entity.
Meesho has also closed a $275 million round recently.

Flipkart has a brand called Shopsy which competes in the same segment and Reliance backed Ajio is also planning to introduce its brand called Ajio Street in this segment.

Future of Indian e-commerce industry will remain competitive and we need see who will reign the segment after an inevitable consolidation in the future.
